They have a left-hand thread marked by an identification groove and a right-hand thread to accommodate 3\/4\" Heim joints, significantly stronger than standard Land Rover track rod ends.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo fit these bars, you will need a Discovery 1 flat-style drop arm on the steering box. The box drop arm and swivel hubs also need to be drilled to 5\/8\" (M16). This will not fully remove the taper but it is more then enough to support the bolt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note: Our custom steering bars are intended for extreme off-roading; they are not suitable for use on public roads.
