Steering components are safety-critical. Installation should be completed by a suitably competent person following the instructions supplied with the product and the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.
After installation:
- Check that all components move freely throughout the available steering and suspension travel.
- Confirm that nothing contacts the chassis, axle, wheels or surrounding components.
- Ensure adjustments and locking features are correctly secured.

Does a lifted 4x4 always need custom steering bars?
Not necessarily. A lift is only one part of the vehicle’s configuration. The axle, steering arms, mounting points and other modifications must also be considered.
Can I measure my existing steering bar?
